The nursing shortage has created the need for many changes in nursing school programs throughout the country. These changes have occurred in response to the demand for more nurses as quickly as possible. Many students have been extremely appreciative of the flexibility with the scheduling. They also enjoy the convenience of being able to take nursing courses when time permits. This provides them the ability to continue working and having time for their family while furthering their education.
